‘General Hospital’ News: Lilly Melgar – Former Lily Corinthos In New Horror Movie ‘Scarlett’

“General Hospital” (GH) alum news for Lilly Melgar (Lily Corinthos) and cast member of the web series “The Bay The Series” (Janice Ramos) includes another new movie to talk about. The busy actress is the star of “Scarlett” – a modern day vampire story. This film was directed by Hans Carrillo – Melgar worked with him on the horror film “Boo” also.

“Scarlett” is a far cry from Lily Corinthos and Janice Ramos, and this film is not for the faint of heart! But if you love a good vampire movie you will love this one. The film is described as “a fresh spin on the modern day vampire, who kills in the midst of a self-obsessed society that is addicted to their cellphones, social media and selfies. With humanity detached and an entire city void of emotion, Los Angeles has become the perfect feeding ground.” YIKES!

“Scarlett” begins with a beautiful woman dressed nearly head-to-toe in, what else, scarlet. As she walks amongst a crowd winding through white columns a young woman notices her and begins to follow behind. No one else seems to notice this woman, hence the description of a self-absorbed society. Believe us when we say, this is a woman you would notice!

The beautiful woman dressed all in scarlet disappears and the young woman who has been following her glances around – she has lost sight of her! All of a sudden something happens no one was prepared for, especially the young woman! Scarlett jumps out and well, does what vampires do. Beware – again – this is not for the faint of heart!
