‘General Hospital’ News: Kimberly McCullough Returns To GH – Dr. Robin Scorpio-Drake Back to Port Charles

“General Hospital” (GH) spoilers reveal that Kimberly McCullough is bringing Dr. Robin Scorpio-Drake back to Port Charles. Look for her to show up sometime in November – possibly as early as November sweeps.

Why is Robin is coming back to town is a mystery – for now. She could be the one who will finally reveal the truth that Jake Doe is Jason Morgan (Billy Miller). The other possibility is that the good doctor is headed home to claim hubby Dr. Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson) when Sam Morgan (Kelly Monaco) leaves him devastated at the altar when she learns the truth about Jake/Jason’s identity.

ABC Soaps In Depth got the scoop from “GH” executive producer Frank Valentini who said, “Kimberly is part of our ‘GH’ family and everyone is happy to welcome her home.” Valentini isn’t revealing much more than that except to say, “There is some really cool stuff planned for Robin. It’s a race against time and a trio is formed in a desperate attempt to help save a life that hangs in the balance.”

For her part Kimberly McCullough is excited about bringing Robin back to “General Hospital” but she’s tight-lipped on her return as well. “I can’t wait to get out of my scrubs! Although I can’t promise anything. Either way, I’m back to kick some butt and tell some truths!” Sounds like it might be Dr. Scorpio-Drake who is finally going to let all of Port Charles know that Jake is Jason Morgan!

Will Robin also call Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) and Nikolas Cassadine (Tyler Christopher) on their lies and deception? There have been a lot of secrets being kept in Port Charles and many lies to be exposed. After Robin storms back into town and lifts the lid on all the secrets will she take off into the sunset with ex-hubby Patrick and their daughter Emma? Jason Thompson is leaving and Kimberly McCullough returning would be a way to send off Patrick after his heart is broken by Sam.

Welcome back to Kimberly McCullough! No matter how long she stays it’s nice to have Robin Scorpio-Drake back on “General Hospital.”
