‘General Hospital’ News: John J. York Returns To ‘GH’ As Mac Scorpio

‘General Hospital’ spoilers tease that ‘GH’ alum John J. York is returning to the ABC soap as the popular character Mac Scorpio.  It has been months since fans of the daytime drama have saw Mac Scorpio in Port Charles.  York’s character Mac was slowly fizzled out of the current storylines in Port Charles – he never formerly exited the soap, the ‘GH’ writers just haven’t found much use for him these days.

According to’General Hospital’ spoilers in this week’s edition of Soap Opera Digest, York is headed back to Port Charles – although his appearance will be brief, fans are thrilled by the news.  The magazine reveals that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) has a “revealing conversation with her former brother-in-law.”  And, everyone knows that her “former brother-in-law” is Mac Scorpio – Robert Scorpio’s brother.

‘General Hospital’ spoilers recently confirmed that Y&R star Tristan Rogers is headed back to Port Charles to resurrect the role of Robert Scorpio for a brief visit – so it stands to reason that Mac Scorpio’s appearance will pave the way for Robert’s return.  What do you think Mac Scorpio could have to tell Anna Devane about Robert?
