'General Hospital' News: Jimmy Deshler - Formerly Rafe Kovich - Stars In 'Strange Ones'“General Hospital” alum Jimmy Deshler (ex- Rafe Kovich) has been cast in the pilot for a new television show “Strange Ones.” Deshler will portray the part of a character named Adam.

Currently there is not much information available regarding “Strange Ones” other than the television show is set for release sometime in 2016. Other stars include fellow “General Hospital” alum Stephanie C. Allen (ex- Lulu Spencer) as LIzzie, Jodie Sweetin (“Full House”) as Michelle, Caleb Ruminer (“Finding Carter), and Chad Todhunter (“True Blood”) as Jonathan.

Jimmy, who recently turned 21, is also working on a feature film project, “Presumed,” which is currently filming and is due out in 2016. After leaving the character of Rafe Kovich was killed off on “General Hospital” Deshler guest-starred on ABC’s mini-series “The Astronaut Wives Club,” and the Nickelodeon comedy “Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn.”

“GH” fans were shocked when TPTB killed off Rafe Kovich after he sustained a traumatic brain injury after a car accident. Rafe hemorrhaged during surgery to relieve pressure on his brain, and was declared brain dead in July 2014 and was taken off life support.

As more details become available about the new television show “Strange Ones” we will share them with Soap Opera Spy readers. “General Hospital” fans will be happy to see Jimmy Deshler back on the small screen!
