If you’ve been looking for a way to get your Frisco fix, you may have to settle for seeing Jack Wagner in a different role. Soap Opera Digest is reporting that Jack Wagner, who is most famous for playing Frisco Jones on “General Hospital,” has landed a gig on “Ray Donovan.” Wagner recently tweeted “Starting 2day on ‘Ray Donovan’ a far cry from Hallmark but great cast & writing…” It looks like it’ll only be for one episode, but it sounds like GH fans might want to check out Wagner’s appearance on the Showtime drama, which stars Liev Schreiber and Jon Voight. The show’s third season is set to air this summer.
Of course, some soap viewers might remember Wagner also had a notable role on “The Bold and the Beautiful” as Dominick “Nick” Payne-Marone. Wagner has made appearances over the last few years on primetime TV hits like “Castle” and “Celebrity Apprentice” as well. From “Dancing with the Stars” to “Hot in Cleveland,” it seems Jack Wagner has no problem trying out new things. With the recent news of his appearance on “Ray Donovan,” it seems Wagner can add gritty crime drama to the list. We’ll keep you updated if any more details emerge about the character Wagner will be playing or the specific air date for his episode.
So GH fans, what do you think about the news that Jack Wagner will appear on “Ray Donovan” in the near future? Are you excited to see Jack Wagner back in action, even if it’s not on a soap?
