‘General Hospital’ News: Ilene Kristen Reprising The role Of Ava’s Mom Delia

Fans of the popular daytime soap “General Hospital” are happy after hearing that Delia, who is portrayed by actress Ilene Kristen, will be returning to the series for an episode or two.

Ilene made the announcement that she will be returning to General Hospital via her Twitter and Facebook pages on Thursday, May 28. In a short statement that Ilene released over her social media, the actress writes, “Hey Facebook friends. [I] will be on General Hospital very briefly mañana and then again full show on Monday.”

Fans shared their excitement on social media. One writes, Great can’t wait to see you,” while another fan expresses their desire for Delia to return longterm. They write, “Ok can’t wait wish [it] was on full time.”

The character of Delia is returning right in the middle of the drama involve Denise DeMuccio, who fans believe could possible be Ava Jerome in disguise. Still, other fans believe that Denise is just a doppelgänger. Perhaps, Ava has a secret twin and now Delia will reveal that news either tomorrow, May 29 or Monday, June 1.

Whatever the case may be, bringing Ilene to reprise her role as Delia only reassures fans that this story line is going to get much more heated in the episodes to come. We are excited to tune in to General Hospital and see what the writers have in store for Kristen as she returns to the series.
