‘General Hospital’ News: Finola Hughes Appears On The Fablife – Offers Joe Zee Guest Spot On ‘GH’

“General Hospital” Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) surprised FABLife stylist Joe Zee, who is a huge “GH” fan for his birthday. The actress was hiding in the audience waiting to surprise him during the “Off the Cuff” segment. During the segment audience members ask the stylists for advice on a variety of topics.

Stylist Lauren Makk went into the audience and approached a woman dressed in a dark dress and dark shades. Makk asked, “What is your question? What’s your name?” Hughes stood up, removed her shades, looked up and responded, “Finola, and I was wondering, Joe you’re such a huge “General Hospital” fan…”

Joe Zee was absolutely shocked, but nonetheless very happy to see Finola. Lauren then brought Hughes out of the audience to meet Joe. “Happy birthday! Happy birthday!” Hughes exclaimed as she gave Joe Zee a big hug. Then the biggest surprise of all – Finola asked Joe if he would like to come on “General Hospital” for a guest appearance.

After the initial shock wore off Joe explained how he used leave elementary school five minutes early – he would ask to go to the bathroom before the final bell rang – and rush home every day in order to watch “GH” with his grandmother. A very excited Joe couldn’t believe Hughes made the offer! “Do you want to do it?” Finola asked.

Of course Joe wants to do it! What “General Hospital” fan wouldn’t jump at the chance for a guest-starring role on their favorite soap opera? Finola Hughes offered Joe Zee some tips for acting on a daytime drama. Finola even extended an invitation for Joe Zee’s boyfriend Rob Younkers to come along. Rob is also a huge “GH” fan and watches every day.

“General Hospital” usually tapes four to six weeks in advance. It will probably be a few months before “GH” fans and FABLife fans see Joe Zee on the daytime drama. Hopefully the stylist will share a scene or two with Finola Hughes.
