‘General Hospital’ News: Carolyn Hennesy Stars In New Movie ‘Counting Des Moines’

‘General Hospital‘ star Carolyn Hennesy has added another acting gig to her already impressive resume.  Hennesy is a busy lady and we don’t get to see her character Diane in Port Charles often.  If you are missing her as much as we are, then we have good news – you will be able to see her in her all new movie ‘Counting Des Moines’ VERY soon.

According to a report from CBS Soaps In Depth, Hennessy’s new film ‘Counting Des Moines’ is making it’s worldwide debut on Thursday December 17 at  Laemmle Playhouse 7 theater in Pasadena, CA.  It’s actually the sequel to the online television series ‘Chasing The Hill.’  Hennesy stars as a lead in the political drama, she plays the part of a female New York governor that is preparing to run for President.  Who better to be the first female President of the United States than Carolyn Hennesy?!

In the all new movie Hennesy plays the part of Governor Sampson, and she has to travel to Iowa to get votes – all while dealing with her rival, another female Presidential hopeful hailing from California.  Hennesy gave Soaps In Depth a it of a preview as to what fans can expect.  She teased to the magazine, “Governor Sampson has got the smarts of any of our great politicians, but she has the style of Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada.  There’s that type of delicious arrogance, but as far as she’s concerned, it’s grounded in reality — she believes that she has the goods to deliver.”
