‘General Hospital’ News: Brandon Barash, AKA GH’s Johnny Zacchara Joins Cast Of Lifetime’s Unauthorized Melrose Place Story As Michael Mancini

“General Hospital” star Brandon Barash just landed a new role on the Lifetime movie “The Unauthorized Melrose Place” story. Barash, who happens to be in a relationship with fellow GH star Kirsten Storms, returned to the ABC soap in December 2014 in a brief story arc as his mobster character Johnny Zacchara. GH spoilers indicated that Johnny Zacchara’s return would be brief though, and Brandon Barash exited the soap opera in February 2015.

Brandon hasn’t had any problems finding work since he left “General Hospital” earlier this year, and he will appear in the highly anticipated Lifetime movie “The Unauthorized Melrose Place Story.” The report reveals that Barash will be playing the part of “bad guy Michael Mancini.” The part was originally played by actor Thomas Calabro. “The Unauthorized Melrose Place Story” will premiere on Lifetime on Saturday October 10 – and we can’t wait to see Brandon Barash back in action!

We really miss seeing Johnny Zacchara on “General Hospital,” but we have a sneaking suspicion that Barash’s new role as Michael Mancini won’t be much different than his portrayal of the Port Charles villain. Sadly there are no “General Hospital” spoilers indicating that Barash will be back anytime soon – but at least we will get a chance to watch him on our TV screens this Fall!
