‘General Hospital’ News: 2015 Nurses Ball Dates and Details, Major Character Returning – Live Televised GH Event Official Announcement

“General Hospital” spoilers and news tease that the highly anticipated 2015 Nurses Ball will air on the ABC soap opera from Friday May 1 – Tuesday May 5. The Nurses Ball has always been a huge event in Port Charles, and after a very long hiatus the producers decided to bring back the exciting party for viewers in 2013 to commemorate the soap opera’s 50th anniversary – and it has been going strong ever since. Who wouldn’t want to see their favorite “General Hospital” actors take the stage to sing and dance, all while major storylines boil to a head and shocking revelations are made.

“General Hospital” spoilers and coming and going news tease that this year an iconic character will make a comeback for the 2015 Nurses Ball. In February GH fans stormed the soap opera’s website to vote for which character they would like to see return for the big event: Serena Baldwin (Carly Schroeder), Stefan Cassadine (Stephen Nichols), Mike Corinthos (Ron Hale), or Courtney Matthews (Alicia Leigh Willis). Each of those characters could really spice up some current storylines on the ABC soap. Rumors were running rampant that Vanessa Marcil was also returning for the Nurses Ball as Brenda Barrett – however the actress took to Twitter and cleared up the confusion and stated she didn’t film any scenes for the big event.

According to “General Hospital” spoilers, May 2015 will be a big month for the daytime drama. In addition to the Nurses Ball, on Friday May 15 and Monday May 18 the soap opera will be broadcasting live from their Los Angeles studio for a major television event.
