Lisa LoCicero’s (Olivia) daughter made her acting debut on October 9 portraying her infant son, Leo. According to Soap Opera Digest, the actors who portrayed baby Leo were not able to do any more scenes due to time restrictions placed on infant actors. Lisa explains that infants have strict guidelines and time restraints on their work times. When the time was approaching that limit, Lisa began to panic with only a few scenes left to do. She decided to make a crazy suggestion that just might work.

Lisa thought that since there were only a few more scenes to do maybe her baby, Verity Jann could fill in for Leo. She told the producers that she had a baby downstairs that could easily pass off as Leo with a wardrobe change.
Lisa touted, “She’s a STARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.” “What happened was, we were getting close to the time that the baby [who had played Leo that day] was allowed to work, they are extremely strict about the hours they can work. I was like I have a baby downstairs. There were only two scenes left to do. I ran downstairs and dressed Veriety like a boy and we did the last two scenes. I delivered my last couple lines and inside I was praying, please baby don’t start screaming over the excitement,” she recalled.

She said that day, there was a lot of stress with the excitement of the change in baby actors. She said that now she had her acting papers, so if they are ever in a jam, Verity will step in. Lisa said, “And, that’s how Verity became Leo for a day.”
