‘General Hospital’ Interview: Kimberly McCullough Discusses Robin Scorpio-Drake’s Return To Port Charles

“General Hospital” news includes some information about when viewers can expect to see Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Dr. Robin Scorpio-Drake (Kimberly McCullough) back in Port Charles. Robin’s return will begin with a phone call from ex-husband Dr. Patrick Drake (Jason Thompson).

Kimberly McCullough told ABC Soaps In Depth that she is thrilled to be back on “GH”! According to McCullough there is going to be a huge storyline involving Patrick and TPTB want ex-wife Robin to be part of that. Kimberly has taped one episode and is scheduled to tape several more. “As far as I know, it’s a bit open-ended. I’m working in November, and I’m not really sure what’s going to happen after that.” Viewers should expect to see Robin Scorpio-Drake arrive back in Port Charles sometime in late November.

When will Robert Scorpio return to town? Tristan Rogers should show up in town in early December. “General Hospital” executive producer Frank Valentini knows fans have been patiently waiting for Tristan’s return – and rumors are that Robert Scorpio may swing through Port Charles for a visit beginning on Dec. 2. At this time it is not known how long Robert will stay in town.

Kimberly warns that fans should not expect the same Robin to return to Port Charles. The good doctor has been burying herself in work and has put a tremendous amount of distance between herself and her family – both emotionally and physically – which has caused her a lot of pain. McCullough warns, “We’ll see if Robin even comes back to Port Charles!”

But Patrick and Robin have way too much unfinished business and there are many loose ends for this “General Hospital” couple to wrap up. Jason Thompson has vacated his role as Patrick Drake – is it possible Robin is coming back to Port Charles to reconnect with Patrick and daughter Emma Drake (Brooklyn Rae Silzer).

Will Patrick and Emma leave town with Robin? Dr. Scorpio-Drake’s mother Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) could certainly use emotional support from her daughter right now. Is that why Robert Scorpio coming back to town? To help his ex-wife find out if Carlos Rivera (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) is still alive?
