5. Derk is also the brother to Drew Cheetwood, who also starred on General Hospital as well, he played Magic Milo.
6. In 1995, Derk has appeared on Sitcom Brotherly Love.
7. Derk is married to Cara Coster, the actor Kevin Costner’s niece since 2006.
8. Derk & Cara share a daughter Kylie, she was born January 30, 2008. Their second daughter Audrey Jane was born October 14, 2010. Their third child, a son, named Cody Maclean was born on February 9, 2015.
9. Derk has appeared in over three dozen national commercials, ranging from Chevrolet to Bud Light
10. Derk’s first part in a major film came in Kevin Costner’s The Postman in 1997.
