‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers Week Of September 14-18: Sonny In Trouble, Dante Guilty, Nina Dumps Ric

Check out these ‘General Hospital’ spoilers for the week of Monday September 14^th through Friday September 18^th – critical stuff about Sonny, Dante, Jake and Ava this week. Here’s a look ahead!

Sonny’s in Trouble

Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard] is in a major medical crisis. Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] has to decide whether she’ll sign off on life-saving surgery for Sonny that could leave him paralyzed for life. Carly leans on son Michael Quartermaine [Chad Duell] to help make the best decision. Michael is embracing his Corinthos roots and will try and help his mom make the right choice for Sonny.

Dante Falconeri [Dominic Zamprogna] shows up to the hospital after punching Julian Jerome [William deVry] and is shocked to see how bad off his Dad is. Patrick Drake [Jason Thompson] gives Dante the 411 that Sonny is in trouble. Dante is distraught. All the Corinthos boys are in anguish over Sonny’s life and death struggle. Kristina Corinthos [Lexi Ainsworth] shows up to see her dad for a few days.

Morgan off the Rails

Taking Sonny’s shooting hardest is Morgan Corinthos [Bryan Craig] who continues to spiral. His mental state is deteriorating badly and he’ll refuse to see a doctor about the bipolar problem even though Michael tries to talk sense to him. Morgan is solely focused on revenge and is making the crisis harder on his family, his mother Carly in particular as he rails against her as he unravels.

Morgan promised Sonny that he would take care of Julian and that’s what he tries to figure out how to do. Morgan wants TJ Ashford [Tequan Richmond] to give evidence against Julian – even though TJ has no legitimate testimony to put Julian away. Morgan’s alternate plan is to get a gun and take care of business himself. But murder on the mind might put Morgan in more danger than he realizes.

Jake Seems so Familiar…

Both Ric Lansing [Rick Hearst] and Sam Morgan [Kelly Monaco] notice that Jake Doe’s [Billy Miller] actions to save Sonny seem awfully reminiscent of Jason. That makes Sam a little sad because she misses Jason. It disturbs Ric, though, because Ric doesn’t want to lose his top spot as Sonny’s only brother now that the Jason is dead. Ric will be threatened and could act out.

Liz Webber [Rebecca Herbst], of course, knows exactly who Jake is and seems like she’s on the verge of finally telling him the truth and giving him back his life. Instead, Liz will make up some other BS to keep stringing him along because Liz decides losing him is the worst-case scenario and will do anything to keep him with her for at least a while longer.

Dante Consumed by Guilt

Dante lost it when Julian said he’s a cheater like his dad Sonny. Did Lulu Spencer [Emme Rylan] notice that Dante reacted strongly to those words and will it give her pause to consider if maybe there was more than just a lip lock between her husband and her cousin Valerie Spencer [Brytni Spencer]? Hmm… The Valerie pregnancy and cheating thing is about to blow up.

Dante confides in Nathan West [Ryan Paevey] that he’s thinking of telling Lulu the truth. Nathan offers some advice, but also tries to help by telling Valerie to stay far away from Dante. But Valerie can’t since they’re having a baby together. Nathan and Maxie Jones [Kirsten Storms] are just happy their relationship is in good shape. Good for them.

Ric Gets What’s Coming to Him

Karma is coming for Ric – who’s excited to see that? Now that Nina Clay [Michelle Stafford] and Franco [Roger Howarth] are on the loose, Ric had better watch out. Nina will dump Ric in grand style and then she and Franco hatch a revenge plot against him for tormenting Nina. Ric will soon have no wife and no money – and Scotty Baldwin [Kin Shriner] is out to ruin his career.

Out of the blue, Scotty will offer to rep Ava Jerome [Maura West] in her murder trial. Ava’s trial starts and she’s not happy but a surprise visitor may help her out. Also, Scotty offers an important revelation about her case. Did Scotty take or erase the recording that implicated Ava so that Ric’s case will fail and he’ll lose the DA job so Scotty can take it back? This is a trial to watch. Ava will walk away unscathed.

Julian, Alexis, Dillon and the Drakes

Julian asks Alexis Davis [Nancy Lee Grahn] to leave Port Charles with him for a while until the Sonny shooting and mob mess dies down. That should convince Alexis he’s really out of the mob. Julian couldn’t leave if the war for Port Charles territory is just heating up. But will Julian bail while Ava is on trial? Might not be a bad idea with Morgan gunning for him – literally.

Dillon Quartermaine’s [Robert Palmer Watkins] movie hits the skids and his dad Paul Hornsby [Richard Burgi] calls in some favors to try and get it back on track. Also, Sam, Emma Drake [Brooklyn Rae Silzer], and Anna Devane [Finola Hughes] have a surprise for Patrick. He’s pleased. Look for Patrick to consider proposing to Sam soon.
