‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers Wednesday Sept. 23: Liz Tries To Rush Wedding, Ava Hires Scott, Julian Searches For Mob Leader

Wednesday’s show is all about the mob action in Port Charles – check out these ‘General Hospital’ spoilers for the September 23^rd show.

Liz Webber [Rebecca Herbst] is barely holding it together. She knows that someone soon may realize Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard] is not just ranting on drugs and see the morphine haze has allowed Sonny to see past Jake Doe’s [Billy Miller] physical self to hear his voice and interpret his actions. Liz is in a panic and asks Jake to set a wedding date. He’s happy to do that, but what is Liz thinking?

Is Liz going to walk Jake down the aisle then play dumb when it comes out he’s already married to Sam Morgan [Kelly Monaco]? What is Liz thinking? She’s setting everyone up for heart break, including her kids – and Jake’s kids. Also, Sam tells Patrick Drake [Jason Thompson] that Jason is heavily on her mind because of their anniversary. Patrick encourages her to work through her feelings.

Dillon Quartermaine [Robert Palmer Watkins] also has to work through his feelings about Paul Hornsby [Richard Burgi]. Dillon will try to be more open to his feelings about his dad upon advice from Maxie Jones [Kirsten Storms] who has also dealt with an absentee father. Dillon tells Paul he’s worried about him accepting the DA job because of all the mob violence.

Paul appreciates Dillon’s concern but won’t be dissuaded. He says he’s not scared. Of course not, since Paul is the source of the mob violence in Port Charles. Dillon isn’t the only person concerned about the mob violence. Alexis Davis [Nancy Lee Grahn] is increasingly worried about Julian Jerome [William deVry] in light of what Morgan Corinthos [Bryan Craig] and Michael Quartermaine [Chad Duell] just did.

In fact, Alexis is much more concerned about Michael than Morgan since she knows Michael is coldly calculating. Julian thanks Alexis for putting herself at risk to stay with him while Morgan held the gun on him. Julian tells Alexis the key is to find out who’s behind all this. Look for Alexis to turn to the most ironic person in Port Charles for help to get the info that Julian needs to save himself.

Ava Jerome [Maura West] wastes no time after sealing the deal with Paul. Ava chats up Scotty Baldwin [Kin Shriner] and then hires him to sue Sonny for custody of baby Avery. Scotty isn’t happy about not getting the $5 million, but is willing to take Sonny to court to take his daughter away. Will Ava pull Scotty into her mob web? Could Scotty turn into her consigliore? How cool would that be?

Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] and Michael have a serious talk to Morgan about his mental health. They pressure him to see Dr Kevin Collins [Jon Lindstrom] but Morgan fights back on this point. Carly tells Morgan that Sonny wants him to take care of himself. Morgan just wants to focus on Sonny and getting revenge on Julian and will fight his family on the bipolar issue.
