‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers Thursday October 1: Lulu Jealous Of Maxie, Paul Blackmails Anna, Morgan Begs Ava To Back Off

On Wednesday, there’s lots happening in Port Charles – here’s some ‘General Hospital’ spoilers for the September 30 episode.

Dillon Quartermaine’s [Robert Palmer Watkins] movie is stirring emotions of Port Charles’ younger set today. Maxie Jones [Kirsten Storms] wakes and tells Nathan West [Ryan Paevey] she has to sleep with Dillon today. After Nathan gets past his shock, they talk about the sex scene she has to film for the movie with Maxie as leading lady and Dillon as the leading man.

Nathan is understandably anxious, but Maxie lets him know that she’s in love with him and that the movie scene won’t change anything. Nathan is not so certain he likes Maxie playing on-screen love games with Dillon. Lulu Spencer [Emme Rylan] talks to Dillon about Dante Falconeri [Domini Zamprogna] and the movie. Lulu is worried about Dante’s struggle with his dad’s shooting.

Lulu mentions that the love scene Dillon is filming with Maxie could make Dillon’s “girlfriend” Valerie jealous. Dillon isn’t concerned about that but it’s actually Lulu who is uncomfortable with Maxie playing a part inspired by Lulu and getting busy with Dillon. It’s a strange sort of hypothetical sex between Dillon and Lulu with Maxie playing surrogate. Too weird. Lulu feels tingles of jealousy.

Paul Hornsby [Richard Burgi] plays along with Ava Jerome’s [Maura West] assertion that Carlos Rivera [Jeffrey Vincent Parise] is the shooter. Paul murdered Kyle Sloane [Robb Derringer] to make sure the secret of Carlos’ dead stays secret, but now he has to find a way to keep Anna Devane [Finola Hughes] from spilling the secret of the Jerome gangster’s demise.

Paul hits Anna hard with the truth that Sloane told him the truth about Anna’s murderous actions and that Sloane handed him the evidence against her. Paul has to strong arm Anna into silence but will she play along? If she doesn’t keep quiet, Anna could be in danger like Sloane. We also now know that Mayor Lomax [Saidah Ekulona] is in cahoots with Paul so Anna has no place to turn.

Valerie talks to Dante about his dad’s shooting and tries to help him stay upbeat about his dad’s recovery. She also asks if he thinks Carlos could really be the shooter. Dante isn’t sure, but he’s not hitting on all cylinders right now because he’s so stressed out. This is not a good time for Valerie to break the pregnancy news.

Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] is freaking out about Sonny’s second surgery and the complications that could come from it. She’s also worried Ava’s custody bid will be successful and that the stress of losing his daughter could kill Sonny. Morgan Corinthos [Bryan Craig] shares that worry and goes to Ava to beg her to back off of the custody case for now. Will Morgan offer Ava himself to buy some time?

Carly is also stressed about Michael Quartermaine’s [Chad Duell] mob involvement and makes Mikey and Morgan pledge they won’t get too involved with their dad’s business. They have to vow to their mother to calm her down, but we know that promise may not hold for long. Sonny is in surgery, but we may not know the long term implications of this for a few days yet.
