‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers Thur, August 27: Nathan Cracks Murder Case, Nina Released, Julian Blasts Ric

Most of Thursday’s episode will be all about the murder case. Big things are happening – here are some hot ‘General Hospital’ spoilers for the August 27 show.

Not related to Silas Clay’s [Michael Easton] murder, Dillon Quartermaine [Robert Palmer Watkins] hits up Maxie Jones [Kirsten Storms]. It may sound like he’s flirting, but Dillon is just looking to pull Maxie into his new movie project. Maxie is the obvious choice to do the costuming for the flick since Maximista is Port Charles’ top fashionista.

Working on the film will also give Maxie a ring-side seat to see what’s going on with Dillon, Valerie Spencer [Brytni Sarpi] and BFF Lulu Spencer [Emme Rylan]. Will Maxie warn Lulu off of Dillon when she sees them getting too close? Will Maxie also notice something is not right with Valerie and Dante Falconeri [Dominic Zamprogna]? Trust Maxie to dish the good dirt.

Meanwhile, Maxie’s honey pie Nathan West [Ryan Paevey] has cracked the Silas murder case. Turns out the answer was in a box of paperwork. Is Nathan the only savvy cop at the PCPD? While most people are looking at Ava Jerome [Maura West], Nina Clay [Michelle Stafford] and Morgan Corinthos [Bryan Craig], it looks like the culprit may be much closer to home.

Rumor has it that Madeline Reeves [Donna Mills] is the killer. Maddy has always hated Silas and if Silas figured out that she and Ric Lansing [Rick Hearst] were gaslighting Nina, he would have threatened to rat her out – deservedly. Plus, Maddy is a likely choice since she’s an ancillary character that Port Charles can very easily do without.

Nathan and Dante will tell PCPD Commissioner Jordan Ashford [Vinessa Antoine] that they cracked the case and will make the arrest today. It’s about time the PCPD cracked a case and arrested the right culprit. The PCPD can put two cases to rest this week – Silas Clay’s murder and baby Avery’s kidnapping. Then look for Nathan to work on the gaslighting case of Nina’s.

Speaking of Nina, her top-notch lawyer Alexis Davis [Nancy Lee Grahn] is at the PCPD to meet with Nina and start working on the defense. That won’t be needed after today once the charges are dropped, but it’s a good meeting anyway. Alexis offers Nina some insight about her sneaky mom Maddy and hubby Ric and tells her to focus on herself and forget those nightmare people.

The PCPD lock up is a popular place today. Kiki Jerome [Hayley Erin] drops by to see Franco [Roger Howarth]. Kiki wants to know why Franco lied to her about Ava being alive. Franco has to make it clear that it was life and death for Nina and he wanted to tell her. And now that Ava flashed the Nina knife photo in court, Franco is free to give Kiki all the scoop on her mom.

Look for Franco to let Kiki know that Ava was shagging Morgan Corinthos [Bryan Craig] yet again and that they are the ones who really betrayed Kiki’s trust, not Franco. Morgan also has questions for someone behind bars at the PCPD. He comes to see Ava, absolutely devastated that Ava didn’t tell him she was alive and didn’t trust him with the truth and her safety.

Will Ava be able to spin Morgan and keep him under her thumb? Ava threatened Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard] that she would do just that, but with Morgan’s mental health rapidly deteriorating, can Ava pull it off? Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] is very worried that Ava will get Morgan back under her spell. Sonny vows to destroy Ava if she tries anything like that.

Julian Jerome [William deVry] is also at the PCPD. He’s there to try and steal the evidence against Ava in the Connie Falconeri murder. Looks like Julian has an inside source, but he’ll get his hands dirty and steal it himself if he needs to. Later Julian visits Ava – but will he deliver hope? Julian runs into Ric and lays into him for doing Sonny’s dirty work while in the DA position.
