The Silas Clay [Michael Easton] murder investigation may set a Port Charles’ record for most arrests of innocent suspects. Nina Clay [Michelle Stafford] and Franco [Roger Howarth] are still locked up, both of whom did not kill Silas. Turns out Nina’s hubby Ric Lansing [Rick Hearst] may be more culpable than Nina. Ric has been tasked to gather evidence on the real killer.
Ric chats up Madeline Reeves [Donna Mills] and asks her some very pointed questions. Turns out the money-stealing legal forms that Maddy prepared needed Silas’s signature for some reason. Madeline tells Ric that she went to Silas’ place the night he died to demand that he sign the forms. Silas refused and it looks like Madeline is the one who put a butcher knife in his back.
Jordan Ashford [Vinessa Antoine], Nathan West [Ryan Paevey] and Dante Falconeri [Dominic Zamprogna] discuss whether Ric will be able to get them the goods on Madeline. Since Ric and Maddy are a bonded pair in the gaslighting scheme, Ric will have to weigh out what’s best for him. So while he may get the confession they need, he may not turn the info over to the PCPD.
Kiki Jerome [Hayley Erin] has no clue that Madeline is a suspect in her dad’s murder – she has another name in mind – Morgan Corinthos [Bryan Craig]. Kiki thinks Morgan may have killed her dad to keep him quiet about Morgan and Ava Jerome [Maura West]. When Morgan chases Kiki down to pledge his love to her anew, he’s crushed to find out she suspects him and is dumping him.
Kiki reveals to Morgan that she knows he was sleeping with her mom. Morgan does his usual denials and tells her Franco is crazy. Kiki is finally convinced, though, and really lays into Morgan about his cheating and lying. Morgan tries to talk her out of dumping him and pleads with her but Kiki won’t hear it. Look for Morgan’s mental state to unravel as a result of Kiki’s rejection.
Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] is rightfully concerned about Morgan and says she thinks Morgan’s erratic behavior, cheating and lying is about to come crashing down around him. How right she is… Carly and Sonny are considering an intervention – they really want Morgan to see Kevin Collins [Jon Lindstrom] and discuss how they can make this happen.
Finally, Lulu Spencer [Emme Rylan] and Dillon Quartermaine [Robert Palmer Watkins] team up to pressure Maxie Jones [Kirsten Storms] to audition for Dillon’s movie. Maxie agrees and does a reading that move Lulu deeply. Now that Lulu hears the words Dillon wrote out loud, she starts to read into them that Dillon came back to Port Charles for her and has feelings for her. Hmm…
