‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers: Friday Cliffhanger Jake Appears At Noodle Buddha Where Sam Triggers Jason Morgan Memories – Major Wedding Anniversary Action!

Friday is always a cliffhanger on General Hospital, but on the September 25th show, it may reach epic proportions. We’ve seen Sam Morgan [Kelly Monaco] torment herself all week as Patrick Drake’s [Jason Thompson] proposal coincided – unintentionally – with her fourth wedding anniversary with Jason Morgan [Billy Miller].

Sam wants to revisit her love for Jason one last time before she puts it all away to be with Patrick. Sam dug out her precious phoenix and dragon figurines and headed to Noodle Buddha – after a stop to chat up her dad Julian Jerome [William deVry] and tell him about Patrick popping the question and her wedding anniversary with Jason.

We saw Sam sit down at Noodle Buddha, outside right where she and Jason tied the knot exactly four years ago. She had just pulled out the pair of figurines when Jake appeared. What led Jake there? Of course he volunteered to pick up food for the Corinthos clan back at the hospital, but why the Chinese place instead of Kelly’s?

Jake’s addled brain led him to where he was supposed to be – with Sam and at the place where they said their I do’s. And once Jake touches those figurines, his touch-memory will spark something in his amnesiac brain. Jake will see things that he doesn’t understand but that he knows are important. Will Jake see the wedding as if he was a participant or an observer?

How detailed will the flashback be? Sam will tell Jake about the wedding, what the figurines mean to she and Jason and, importantly, about Patrick’s proposal. Even if Jake gets 100% total recall from these events, he won’t speak up right now. Jake now knows all about Jason – he was lethal, dangerous to those in his way and could be distant. Jake has none of those emotions – he’s a very different man.

All of this will be confusing for Jake who will recover his identity long before he has any concrete memories to associate with it. And this will frustrate him. Sitting with Sam on the eve of their anniversary will be game-changing for Jake. Unknowingly, Sam will reveal many things to Jake about who he is although Jake will be left with more questions than answers.

Sam will be pulled towards Jake emotionally and she won’t know why. Sam may brush this off as being overly wrought about the anniversary and confused about Patrick’s proposal, but there’s an undeniable and confusing sensation that Sam doesn’t understand. Jake will also find himself feeling a tug towards Sam that’s uncomfortable since he’s solidly in love with Liz Webber [Rebecca Herbst], or is he?

This cliffhanger will be epic – will they cut off with Sam and Jake making gooey eyes, or a near kiss? Or will it be more cut and dried and Jake will get a flood of memories then leave abruptly confused? This is a must-see.
