‘General Hospital’ (GH) Spoilers Friday, August 28: Julian Disappoints Ava, Kiki’s Heartbroken, Morgan Explodes

Today is more murder mystery action in Port Charles. Here’s some ‘General Hospital’ spoilers to get you ready for the Friday August 28th episode.

Julian Jerome (William deVry) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) are both at the PCPD but on different missions. Looks like Julian couldn’t get the evidence against Ava Jerome (Maura West) out of the DA desk because of interfering Jordan Ashford (Vinessa Antoine). Julian has to deliver the bad news to his sister Ava.

Julian also sees a face he hasn’t seen for a while at the PCPD. Will Julian spot Kyle Sloane (Robb Derringer) or Anna Devane (Finola Hughes)? GH rumor indicates both are back soon and Anna will get to work cleaning up Port Charles. Alexis is there to visit Nina Clay (Michelle Stafford) to discuss her murder case defense.

Nina tells Alexis that she didn’t kill Silas Clay (Michael Easton) and neither did Franco (Roger Howarth). Alexis isn’t so sure about who did what, but has to give her nutty client a vigorous defense anyway. Alexis listens to Nina rant and then offers her some advice. Will Nina and Franco be released soon since Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) has been arrested?

Do Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) really suspect Ric of the killing or is interrogating him part of their investigation to try and nab another culprit? Does Nathan suspect his mom/aunt Madeline Reeves (Donna Mills) or did Maddy somehow implicate Ric when she made the move to kill Silas? What evidence do they have against Ric? We want answers!

Before Ava gets to talk to her brother, she has to finish her catastrophic chat with Morgan Corinthos (Bryan Craig). Morgan tells Ava flat out that he’s done with her and wants to be with Kiki Jerome (Hayley Erin). Ava will not take this well. Morgan also threatens Ava to keep their affair a secret and she pledges to do so, but Kiki will find out anyway.

Kiki is with Franco and he tells her that Ava started sleeping with Morgan soon after she came back to town. Kiki is in denial but Franco knows too much about it for her to not accept the truth bomb. Will the cops figure out the Morgan/Ava thing could be a motive for Silas’ murder? Morgan will be devastated when he finds out Kiki knows about he and Ava.

This leaves Morgan scrambling to try and hold on to Kiki and he’ll do anything to keep her. Morgan’s mental state continues to deteriorate and his parents Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) are increasingly worried. They want Morgan to see shrink Kevin Collins (Jon Robert Lindstrom) but Morgan blows up when they suggest it.

Sonny blames himself for Morgan’s issues and wants to make things right. Will this Morgan mess foul up his parents September 2nd wedding? Dillon Quartermaine (Robert Palmer Watkins) is disappointed when Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) tells him that her cheap costumer buddy can’t do his movie. Dillon will try to talk Maxie into helping even though she swears she can’t work on a budget like that.
