‘General Hospital’ (GH) POLL: Is Carlos Rivera Alive and Sonny’s Shooter or Is Ava Jerome Lying to Protect Julian

“General Hospital” spoilers reveal that the person behind Sonny Corthinos’ (Maurice Benard) shooting could be Carlos Rivera (Jeffrey Vincent Parise). That is if you can believe Ava Jerome (Maura West) is capable of telling the truth, about anything let alone something as important as this. She revealed she had ‘information’ that Carlos Rivera was the shooter. All five mob families at the sit-down were shocked. How could Carlos be implicated when he was supposed to be dead?

Carlos Rivera is believed to be dead, shot and killed by Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) in May of 2015. Anna doesn’t think there is any way possible that Carlos could have survived the gunshot- at least not without help from someone in high places. No one is discounting that Carlos seems to have nine lives, but to survive a gun shot at close range, he’d have to be the luckiest man alive. Anna is betting it is just a ruse to deflect the real killer- and she hasn’t quite figured out who it could be.

It seemed much more likely that it is merely a ruse in order for the acting district attorney, Paul Hornsby (Richard Burgi) and Ava to gain control of suspicions of Julian’s (William deVry) involvement. Ava clearly does not want her brother going down for Sonny’s murder. Julian contends that he is completely innocent of trying to kill Sonny- after all he has an alibi, Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn). When Michael (Chad Duell) heard that Carlos could be behind the shooting, he was hesitant. He was positive that he was dead. Is it possible that he could be alive, and he is Paul’s partner?

Paul admitted to Ava that he was the person who was behind Sonny’s attempted murder and the kidnapping of T.J. (Tequan Richmond). Anna thought that Kyle Sloane (Robb Derringer) was behind the murder, but that proved to be false when Paul shot him to silence him on Tuesday. It seems to be a mess and hard to figure out who is telling the truth. Fans you decide; is it possible Carlos Rivera is still alive and gunning for Sonny and his crew? Or is it more likely that Paul is fooling everyone and is the real bad guy?
