‘General Hospital’ (GH) POLL: Did Carly Change Avery’s Paternity Results? Is Morgan the Real Daddy?

“General Hospital” spoilers are in; it is fan speculation that Carly (Laura Wright) could have falsified baby Avery’s paternity test result to reveal that mobster; Sonny (Maurice Benard) was her father. Is it possible that her real father is Morgan Corthinos (Bryan Craig)? Many fans believe that Avery’s father is Morgan and Carly changed the result, so he wouldn’t be connected to Ava (Maura West) forever.

Dr. Silas Clay (Michael Easton) was the one who performed the paternity test. He was Kiki’s (Erin Hayley) father and could have easily changed the result. Because the DNA would be so similar being father and son possibilities- the test was completed by using Carly’s (Morgan’s mother) DNA. Is it possible she convinced Dr. Clay to pull a switch-a-roo, swapping the DNA result, in hopes to protect her son from Ava’s clutch?

Ava still has control over Morgan. He loves her and cannot be trusted around her, and Carly is fully aware of this fact. She knows that Avery will become a tool in Ava’s game to use against Morgan. Let’s not forget that Carly can never be voted mother of the year, but threatening to kill an unborn child by drinking heavily was not one of Ava’s shining moments.

Is it possible that Avery will end up being Morgan’s child? If so, how will Sonny deal with losing a child, but gaining a granddaughter? Sonny loves Avery and has been her caretaker for a few months. She feels safe and secure around him. The person in question that she doesn’t know at all is Ava. In fact, to the innocent baby, Ava is a stranger to her.

It looks like the show may be setting it up to reunite Morgan and Ava. Soap Opera Spy hopes they are way off about this, but it appears their attraction and chemistry is still alive and thriving. Ava destroys everything she touches from her children to every man she’s conquered. If Morgan was smart (And so far that is not proven) he will run far away from her. The one thing Carly was right about was the Ava only wants her daughter to have as a bargaining tool to use to get whatever it is she wants at the time. She doesn’t and possibly is not capable of true unconditional love for anyone- including her precious daughters, Avery and Kiki.
