‘General Hospital’ (GH) News: Kathleen Gati Joins Web Series ‘Fear The Walking Dead: Flight 462’

“General Hospital” (GH) news includes word that Kathleen Gati – our favorite Dr. Liesl Obrecht – signed on to join the cast of a new web series. “Fear of the Walking Dead: Flight 462” is a companion web series to “Fear the Walking Dead.”

The actress has been keeping busy with quite a few side projects when she’s not onset filming scenes for “General Hospital.” Kathleen is no stranger to web series – her most recent role was as Valentina Winterthorne on the four-part “Winterthorne” – which quickly has become a cult favorite and Kathleen Gati may return to for more episodes. As for the new web series Kathleen says fans should stay tuned. “You never know who might show up on this!” the actress tweeted.

In “Fear of the Walking Dead: Flight 462” Kathleen portrays a flight attendant trapped on a zombie invested airplane. It will air in 16-parts on the AMC website or fans can check it out on the AMC YouTube channel. The series takes place over the course of a single flight and will explore how the initial outbreak of the virus destroys humanity. It is set during the same time frame as “Fear of the Walking Dead.”

The first episode aired on October 4 during commercial breaks of “The Walking Dead” and part two aired this past Sunday October 11. Gati live tweeted with viewers – and fans of “The Walking Dead” and “Fear the Walking Dead” were excited about this new 16-part series. Hopefully this will satisfy fans desire for more and more zombie apocalypse-related drama. “General Hospital” fans should definitely tune in and get yet another look at Kathleen flexing her acting chops.

But don’t worry “GH” fans – Dr. Liesl Obrecht isn’t going anywhere – at least not that we know of. Kathleen will still pop up from time to time as our favorite “General Hospital” Chief of Staff who enjoys tormenting Nurse Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst). And with the big Jake Doe/Jason Morgan reveal just around the corner Dr. Obrecht will take more delight than ever as Liz gets caught in a web of lives that may destroy her life.
