‘General Hospital’ Comings & Goings: Psychiatrist Dr. Andre Maddox Coming To Port Charles – Anthony Montgomery Cast In New GH Role

“General Hospital” casting news is in; Anthony Montgomery will make his debut as Dr. Andre Maddox on November 6, according to Soap Opera Digest. Apparently, he will be sharing scenes with Anna [Finola Hughes], as Dr. Kevin Collins [Jon Lindstrom] hands over her case to him.

Dr. Collins is a well-respected psychologist on “General Hospital.” He has treated Anna, Sonny [Maurice Benard], and recently Morgan [Bryan Craig]. He must be overworked with all the mental health clients in Port Charles and needed to hand over one of his most challenging cases, Anna. Or, did Dr. Collins hand over the case to Dr. Maddox after she revealed too much about her past? His first episode will air in a few weeks, on November 6.

Anthony Montgomery is best known for his role on “Star Trek: Enterprise” portraying Travis Mayweather. He has guest starred in many TV shows, including, “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Popular,” “Single Ladies,” and “NCIS.” We Love Soaps reported that in 2011, he appeared as Aaron for a few episodes.

Anthony is very active on social media but has not revealed that he landed a part of “General Hospital,” yet. He posts about his workouts and inspirational posts. Montgomery is a handsome, young man; it won’t take him long before the leading ladies are throwing themselves at him. Fans have expected a leading man to appear on the show after the casting calls released the past few months. From the looks of things, Montgomery looks like he may be able to spice things up in Port Charles. How will Dr. Andre Maddox fit in Port Charles?
