Former ‘Days Of Our Lives’ Star Chrishell Stause Hired on ‘Mistresses’ – Joins Boyfriend Justin Hartley of Y&R

Former “Days of Our Lives” star Chrishell Stause has been cast to appear on the ABC drama Mistresses. In 2014 “Days of Our Lives” spoilers revealed that Stause’s run on the NBC soap opera had come to an end – and her character Jordan Ridgeway left Salem on March 9th 2015, she debuted on DOOL back in 2013. When it was confirmed Chrishell was exiting “Days of Our Lives,” the actress announced on social media that she was looking forward to some new and exciting projects – and apparently one of them is ABC’s primetime drama Mistresses.

On April 16th Chrishell took to Twitter and sent this message out to her fans, “Excited to fly to Vancouver at the end of the month to shoot with @Mistresses_ABC! Details to come.” So far there is no news yet on what character Chrishell will be playing on Mistresses – but Alyssa Milano did recently quit the TV show, leaving a major void in the cast. Despite rumors that the role of Savi would be recast – ABC made an official announcement claiming that they had no intention of recasting the part and the character would be leaving all together. It will be interesting to see how Chrishell Stause is introduced on the series, and whether she will be a friend or foe of the other women.

Anyone who follows Chrishell Stause on social media most likely isn’t shocked by the news of her joining Mistresses. Stause’s real-life boyfriend Justin Hartley, who also plays Adam Newman on “The Young and the Restless,” is also a member of the Mistersses cast. Perhaps Chrishell and Justin will get to share some scenes together on the hot and steamy drama – although it could get a little awkward if they have to stand on set and watch each other hook up with other actresses and actors.
