“The Young and the Restless” superstar Camryn Grimes [Mariah ex-Cassie] says easy dishes are a must for the Holidays. She notes that Thanksgiving and Christmas should be the season for spending time with loved ones, not slaving in the kitchen. Soap Opera Digest reported her favorite dish is apple and pear crisp, and Soap Opera Spy has her recipe so you can make it this Holiday season.
Camryn stated, “It’s super easy. And when you add pear with the apples, it is the perfect sweet and tart balance.” She said she has cooked this recipe for her family for about five years. She noted that baking and cooking is a passion of hers when she is not working. Not only is this recipe delicious, but it is gluten free for those in a Paleo-style diet or those family members that cannot eat gluten due to a sensitivity.
Camryn said, “I try to switch it up and try new foods, constantly. This dish is a consistent family favorite, and is served often. It’s a classic!”
