‘Days of Our Lives’ Weekly Spoilers December 28-January 1: Abigail Gets Shocking News – A Tragic Accident Occurs – Phillip Comforts Belle

Wondering what’s happening in Salem as December draws to a close and the New Year draws near? Well, let’s take a peek into the “Days of Our Lives” hourglass as we feel the sands slip through our fingers…

Hope Brady [Kristian Alfonso] has been looking into just who is/was responsible for Bo Brady’s [Peter Reckell] kidnapping. After searching high and low, Hope finds herself wondering, has she really found the person behind the taking of her love, Bo? Are her efforts coming to fruition? Hope wants answers and she wants the person responsible to pay… and to pay dearly… at all costs! Will that happen? Will she come close, only to be let down or run into a brick wall, again?

Phillip Kiriakis [John-Paul Lavoisier] comforts Belle Black [Martha Madison] after she receives upsetting news from Shawn -Douglas Brady [Brandon Beemer]. Does Phillip have an ulterior motive? Will his comforting be appreciated, or will Belle shrug off his advances as she comes to grips with the news? What lies in store for this couple as New Year’s Eve approaches?

Meanwhile, “Days” fans will be glad when the doctor gives Abigail [Kate Mansi] good news.  After Abigail rushes Thomas to the hospital the doctor tells a shocked Abigail, “Ben cannot be his father!”  Will Abigail tell Chad the news, will the news bring Chad out of the brainwashing?

Chad DiMera [Billy Flynn] asks Belle out for a nice dinner and the meal is fraught with constant interruptions and tension builds until the meal ends as a bust. Chad takes Belle home after the aborted meal and surprises her with a kiss; but Belle insists that their relationship is not going forward or moving further than being strictly a professional one. Chad is let down and disappointed and seeks out counsel from Andre DiMera, [Thaao Penghlis] who encourages Chad “not to give up so easily”. Will Chad ask Andre’ to help him in creating a New Year’s Eve celebration that will prove to Belle, once and for all, that he’s worth her taking a risk on loving again?
