‘Days Of Our Lives’ Star James Scott, Former EJ DiMera, Joins TBS Show ‘Wrecked’ And He Has A New Wife!

When “Days of Our Lives” spoilers revealed in 2014 that James Scott was quitting the NBC soap, and his character EJ DiMera was exiting – DOOL fans were devastated. EJ DiMera has been a central character on “Days of Our Lives” since he was introduced by the writers in 2006, and he made up one half of the infamous super couple EJ and Sami [Alison Sweeney], dubbed “Ejami” by fans. Sadly in 2014 James Scott’s character EJ was murdered senselessly after a business deal gone bad.

According to a new report from Deadline, James Scott has not wasted any time looking for work since he quit “Days Of Our Lives” and his character EJ was killed off by the DOOL writers. James Scott has landed a new acting gig, on a TBS comedy titled “Wrecked.” According to Deadline, James is playing the part of Liam. The website described his character as, “seemingly the most handsome man in the world (even after a plane crash).” And, James confirmed on social media that he has already started filming the TBS show. The DOOL alum tweeted, “First day of shooting #WRECKED a beautiful day ahead I am sure!”

James Scott’s acting career isn’t the only aspect of his life that he has made some drastic changes in though. Apparently, the ex-soap star is officially off the market and fans were shocked to learn on Twitter that he also got married! Bravolebrity Patti Stringer (Of Millionaire Matchmaker) tweeted that she introduced James Scott to his now wife Kaitlyn – and the happy couple just exchanged their “I Do’s.”
