‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Lani Price Arrives in Salem, Miami Cop Could Tie Into Abe’s Backstory – Will Lani Get Involved with Rafe?

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers tease that Lani Price (Sal Stowers) will soon show up in Salem. After DOOL put out a casting call for this role, an audition tape surfaced that seemed to give some clues about Lani’s backstory. The dialogue suggested that Lani was a cop who hooked up with Chad (Billy Flynn) in Boston. However, new details have emerged that appear to point in a few other directions. Lani is still a cop, but we now know she’ll be from Miami.

Of course, there’s a chance Lani was on assignment in Boston while Chad was there. If that’s the case, it doesn’t seem likely that Lani and Chad will reconnect in the near future. Chad is far too wrapped up in trying to clear his name at the moment. Besides, we all know Abigail (Kate Mansi) is Chad’s true love. The “Chabby” pairing has become quite popular among fans and “Days” would be smart to capitalize on that popularity. Many viewers are hoping Chad and Abigail will be the show’s next supercouple.

It’s been confirmed that Sal Stowers tested with Galen Gering, who plays Rafe. Rafe is currently struggling with his feelings for Hope (Kristian Alfonso), but she’s going to have a lot on her plate over the next couple of months. The truth about Aiden (Daniel Cosgrove) will inevitably come out around the time of the bicentennial celebration. Bo’s (Peter Reckell) return to Salem is rapidly approaching as well. Rafe might grow closer to Lani while Hope’s busy with the other men in her life. If nothing else, they could bond as friends.

In the meantime, Lani will have more pressing matters to deal with. “Days of Our Lives” spoilers say Lani will be armed with information about Abe (James Reynolds) when she comes to town. DOOL rumors hint that Lani may be Abe’s daughter. There are plenty of long-lost children floating around Salem at any given moment. Perhaps the soon-to-be-SORAS’d Theo (Kyler Pettis) will be getting a new sister.

It’s also worth mentioning that Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) spent some time in Miami. It’s possible that Lani will be involved in investigating Ben’s legal troubles. Maybe Ben is in worse trouble than we thought. Whatever happens, Lani sounds like an intriguing character that’s going to add interest and diversity to the NBC soap. Stick with “Days of Our Lives” to see Lani make her debut.
