‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) Spoilers: Week Of August 24 Preview Video – Serena Dies, Chad Blacks Out and Patch Is Back!

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for the week of August 24-28 tease that the new era of DOOL will kick off in a big way. Many “Days” fans are thrilled with the changes they’ve seen since the new head writers’ material started hitting the screen. The action is really about to heat up as the much-hyped murder mystery begins.

DOOL spoilers reveal that Chad (Billy Flynn) will find himself in quite a predicament. It seems Chad and Serena (Melissa Archer) will decide to go out for a round of drinks. Unfortunately, Chad isn’t exactly a gentleman when he’s had a few too many. Chad will likely make a crude comment or two and Serena won’t appreciate it. The latest “Days” weekly preview video shows Serena giving Chad an epic soap slap.

However, Chad’s bad night won’t end there. “Days of Our Lives” spoilers say Chad will black out and have no memory of the previous evening’s events. Ordinarily, that might not be a big deal, but it’s HUGE when the woman you were last seen with is off getting killed. Eric (Greg Vaughan) will discover Serena’s corpse in a flower bed and questions will swirl. You can bet that Eric will want to get to the bottom of this. In fact, Eric will feel somewhat responsible for Serena’s death. There was nothing Eric could’ve done, but he’ll still wonder if he could’ve saved Serena from such a gruesome fate.

On a happier note, Steve “Patch” Johnson (Stephen Nichols) is back! DOOL viewers have been anxious to see Patch and they’ll finally get their chance on Friday, August 28. “Days of Our Lives” spoilers indicate that Patch will return with his recently SORAS’d son, Joey (James Lastovic). Joey was supposed to be headed to boarding school, but he apparently didn’t complete the journey.

Patch will show up to bring Joey home and give Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) the news that he’d like to come home as well. Will Kayla accept Patch back in her life after all this time? The rumors hint that they’ll reconcile, but it could take a while. Stick with the NBC soap for updates on their rocky romance.
