‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) Spoilers: Jason Cook Returns As Shawn Brady – Helps Search For Father Bo

“Days Of Our Lives” spoilers teased months ago that DOOL fan fave Jason Cook was headed back to the NBC soap opera as Shawn Douglas Brady.  The news broke back in May 2015 – and details about his return were few and far between.  Now, according to a new report from Soaps.com, we can confirm that Jason Cook will be in town for the 50^th Anniversary episodes – and will be sticking around for two months!

For those of you who don’t remember Shawn Douglas Brady, he is the son of super couple Hope and Bo.  The character of Shawn Brady was originated in 1987, and played by multiple actors – the most memorable being Jason Cook, who played the part from 1999-2006.  Throughout his years in Salem, Shawn Brady had multiple love interests, and eventually became one half of his very own super couple with Belle Black.  Shawn left Salem for good with Belle, and they decided to sail the world together just like his parents Hope and Bo had done.  The last time Shawn was mentioned on “Days Of Our Lives” was in 2011 when Hope briefly discussed an email that she had received from him.

There are so many characters coming in and out of Salem for the 50^th Anniversary celebration that it is getting hard to keep track of them all – but DOOL fans are especially excited about Jason Cook’s big return.  Spoilers tease that Shawn Brady will join forces with Patch to try and find his father Bo and bring him back home safely.  Are you as excited as we are about Shawn Brady’s return to DOOL?  Let us know what you think in the comments below!
