‘Days of Our Lives’ RUMOR – Blind Item Hints Popular ‘DOOL’ Star Will Not Renew Contract

“Days of Our Lives” rumors include a blind item hint that a popular star of the daytime drama does not intend to renew his or her contract.

Serial Scoop posted a blind item in October 2015 that there was an actor – or actress – with a frontburner storyline was choosing to leave “Days of Our Lives.” The initial report claimed that whoever he or she is they have been very vocal in announcing to the cast and crew that their contract would not be renewed. According to the initial post this person’s exit “would be a huge low to the plans of the writing team.”

On Wednesday November 11 Serial Scoop offered a bit of an update but still did not name the actor or actress who is leaving “Days of Our Lives” in the middle of a major storyline. But the website did confirm that SOMEONE is indeed leaving the soap opera.

“Days of Our Lives” fans which popular actor who is a major character on “DOOL” is leaving? There is a lot of speculation. Some of the names being tossed around are Kate Mansi (Abigail Deveraux) – her contract may be up in December. Joseph Mascolo (Stefano DiMera) has been mentioned but reportedly the actor is not on contract – Mascolo is on recurring status.

Some speculated it may be Greg Vaughn (Eric Brady) – but Vaughn reportedly just resigned his contract. One other guess was Arianna Zucker (Nicole Walker), but the actress is listed as recurring and not on contract with “Days of Our Lives.”
