‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: Patrick Muldoon – Former Austin Reed – Stars In New Movie ‘Fishes ‘N Loaves Heaven Sent’

“Days of Our Lives” (DOOL) alum Patrick Muldoon (Austin Reed) has a new movie coming out on DVD. The actor filmed a Christian-based film – “Fishes ‘N Loaves Heaven Sent” – in which he portrays Pastor Randy Michaels.

“Fishes ‘N Loaves Heaven Sent” follows an inner city pastor – Patrick Muldoon – as he is re-assigned to a rural church. Pastor Randy Michaels and his family must find ways to adapt in a new and unfamiliar environment that is outside their comfort zone.

This is a family-friendly comedy from Nandar Entertainment also stars Dina Meyers as Pastor Michaels’s wife Mary Louise. The cast is rounded out by Bruce Davison as Pastor Ezekiel, Dominique Swain as Reva Hutchins and William McNamara as Jimmy Watkins. “Fishes ‘N Loaves Heaven Sent” was nominated in 2015 for Best Script Youth/Family in the written word competition at the Action on Film International Film Festival USA.

Pastor Randy has been chosen to help the rural church find a replacement for the pastor who is already there retires. Randy explains to Mary Louise that there isn’t a lot of choice in the matter. Mary Louise, however, believes that Randy does have options. Randy’s brother Joey could use help at the family restaurant. Apparently the pastor and his brother exactly get along and this would probably be more uncomfortable than moving to the rural church.

Eventually Mary Louise comes around – Randy is destined to preach the Gospel – and the family picks up and moves to the small town. They are welcomed with open arm and the Michaels family settles in to their new home – and new church.

This one is a must see – not only for fans of Patrick Muldoon from his “Days of Our Lives” days – bur anyone who enjoys a great, family-friendly movie. No release date for “Loaves ‘N Fishes Heaven Sent” has been sent yet but you can check out the trailer on YouTube.
