‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: Kate Mansi Raising Money For ‘Be Bold Be Bald’ Charity

“Days Of Our Lives” cast members are always putting their star power to good use and helping out various causes and charities – Kate Mansi (Abigail Deveraux) is no exception.  Kate recently took to Twitter to reveal that she is working with an important charity called “Be Bold Be Bald” to raise money for the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center.  Kate also shared photos of a courageous woman named Alison who is currently battling cancer that she met through the charity.

On Kate’s “Be Bold Be Bald” charity page the “Days Of Our Lives” actress explains, “Every year on my birthday I support a worthy charity. This year, I chose BBBB. That led me to Alison. Strong, fit, funny… and happier than most people I know, Alison also has breast cancer. She’s undergone a double mastectomy, series of surgeries, rounds of chemotherapy, and a clinical trial at UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Center.”

Kate Mansi’s goal is $5,000 and she is already well on her way and has raised over $2,200 of it.  Of course, the fact that she is entering those who donate to the cause in to contests to win different “Days Of Our Lives” prizes – like items autographed by herself and her fellow “DOOL” cast members is definitely helping her reach her goal quickly.
