‘Days of Our Lives’ News: Former DOOL Star Blake Berris Joins Cast of ‘Pretty Little Liars’

The latest “Days of Our Lives” news reveals that Blake Berris (Nick Fallon) has joined the cast of “Pretty Little Liars.” DOOL fans will remember that Blake Berris left the role of Nick in 2014 with a shocking exit storyline. After months of blackmail and increasingly threatening behavior, Gabi (Camila Banus) finally reached her limit. Gabi shot Nick and his wounds proved fatal. Although Nick was a bit of a creep, many “Days” fans were sad to see Berris leave the NBC soap.

Fortunately, soap watchers will get a chance to see Berris take on a new role in “Pretty Little Liars.” There’s no word yet on what part he’ll play, but Berris will get to experience a bit of a blast from the past. Another former DOOL star is also on the cast. Ashley Benson played Abigail Deveraux from 2004 to 2007. Benson now portrays Hanna Marin on “Pretty Little Liars,” which airs on ABC Family.

Benson is thrilled to have an old pal joining her on PLL. An Instagram photo shows Berris and Benson smiling on set. Benson captioned the pic with “Sooooo excited this guy is here @blakeberris haven’t worked with him since I was 17…#friends.” It sounds like they’ll have a chance to catch up and share some scenes once again.

Back on “Days of Our Lives,” it looks like Gabi will soon get off the hook for taking Nick’s life. Camila Banus is set to reprise the role later this year. The rumors say Gabi’s appearances won’t be from behind bars. Though Gabi plead guilty, it seems she could get paroled for good behavior. Many DOOL viewers will be glad to see Gabi get back to the daytime drama for however long her stint may be. Stick with “Days of Our Lives” for updates on Gabi’s return to Salem.
