‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) News: Thaao Penghlis Book ‘Seducing Celebrities One Meal At A Time’ Available Now!

“Days of Our Lives” (DOOL) star Thaao Penghlis (Andre DiMera) book – half cookbook, half storytelling “Seducing Celebrities One Meal At A Time” has been released and has been enthusiastically received by his fans. You can find it – right now – on both Amazon and Barnes and Noble websites.

In the new book Penghlis describes the celebrities with whom he has crossed paths in his life – and how he would seduce them with cuisine. “Seducing Celebrities One Meal At A Time” is a collection of recipes that Thaao would serve to the likes of Barbra Streisand, George Clooney, the late Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, and the late Joan Rivers.

Thaao Penghlis teased fans with a photo of the “Seducing Celebrities One Meal At A Time” on Twitter. “Through an imaginary and magical evening of cuisine the seduction begins…and I welcome you to join me in this celebration.” The celebrities Penghlis mentioned for this imaginary dinner party are not only people with whom he has crossed paths, but people with whom he has worked. “I imagined if I had invited Jackie Kennedy-Onassis to dinner, what cuisine would be on the menu? Greek, of course!”

The “Days of Our Lives” actor also includes Omar Sharif, Shirley McClaine, former co-star John Aniston and Jennifer Aniston – John’s daughter. “These people are iconic, and somehow made a difference in my life,” Thaao says.

How did it come about that the “DOOL” star wrote this book? His manager made the suggestion but the actor thought it sounded boring – at first. But Penghlis mulled it over – and from his love of cooking the book came to be. It combines the three things he loves most in life – fine cuisine, celebrities and seduction.
