‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) News: Kate Mansi (Abigail Deveraux) Stars In New Thriller ‘Muse’ – Her First Movie!

‘Days Of Our Lives’ star Kate Mansi has been busy working on her new movie ‘Muse,’ when she isn’t filming scenes as Salem’s Abigail Deveraux.  The DOOL star has been teasing her fans on social media about her new movie for nearly a year now – and word on the internet is that the movie will be released before the end of 2015.  ‘Muse’ is an independent movie, so it has not been given a guaranteed release date just yet.

This is actually Kate Mansi’s first official movie since she paved the way to her acting career in the NBC soap opera ‘Days Of Our Lives.’  Kate has been sharing some pretty intense photos of herself on the set of the new movie – and it looks like it is going to be quite the nail-biter!  According to IMDB, ‘Muse’ is about: “A struggling painter’s life is changed forever when he meets a Leannán Sí – a mythical Irish muse who takes an artist as a lover, inspires him, and kills anyone that threatens him.”

Kate Mansi’s character in ‘Muse’ is listed as Maria – so no she is not playing the part of the mythical Irish muse that is killing any women that looks at her boyfriend the wrong way.  Sadly, it sounds like Kate might actually turn out to be one of the victims of the muse.  Unfortunately, we will have to wait until the thriller is released to find out for sure.  Will you be tuning in to Kate Mansi’s creepy new movie?  Let us know what you think in the comments below!
