‘Days of Our Lives’ Interview: Peter Reckell Explains Why DOOL Bo Brady is Back

“Days of Our Lives” (DOOL) Peter Reckell explained in a recent interview why Bo Brady has returned to Salem. Fans were extremely frustrated with the way Bo left the soap opera and Reckell is ready to give them answers that are long overdue.

An explanation was in order for “DOOL” viewers – a much better exit for Bo was deserved. No one bought that Bo accompanied Caroline to Los Angeles to begin an Alzheimer’s trial clinic – and then took a lightning fast detour for some secret ISA mission. Even Peter Reckell felt frustration over this plot twist – it was not at all deserving of a major “Days of Our Lives” character.

Now that Bo Brady is back fans will learn what really happened to Hope Brady’s (Kristen Alfonso) husband and Ciara Brady’s (Lauren Boles) father. Everyone was lead to believe Brady had abandon them, but it turns that is not what happened at all. Peter didn’t spill the beans on exactly what has happened to Bo Brady but the actor did say that when Bo comes back all will finally be explained. Reckell is thrilled with new head writers Josh Griffith’s and Dena Higley’s intriguing storyline. “DOOL” viewers are definitely going to get what they have been waiting for – and this will unfold over the next couple of months.

And what about Bo Brady’s first face-to-face confrontation with Hope? Peter says that the chemistry between he and Kristen Alfonso is still there and it is powerful. An insider reveals that those first moments between Bo and Hope will be packed with “high-stakes drama.” Devoted fans of the super couple will be on the edge of their seats waiting to see what happens. And at the end of the day Bo will be the hero once again.

It may have taken three years to get to this point, but “Days of Our Lives” viewers – especially fans of Bo Brady and Hope Brady fans – will get the answers they’ve wanted all along. And it’s going to be sensational resolution that has been well worth the wait.
