‘Days Of Our Lives’ Interview: Kassie DePaiva Discusses Eve’s Exit, Wants Fans To Keep Watching DOOL!

“Days of Our Lives” (DOOL) Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) is leaving the daytime drama – there is no official last airdate it may be sometime in early 2016. DePaiva wanted fans to know she isn’t bitter at all and has enjoyed every moment portraying Eve.

Kassie DePaiva did reach out to viewers to let them know there are no regrets – and even though she won’t be part of the “DOOL” cast any longer they should still keep watching the soap opera Soaps In Depth reported – October 19 through October 26 – “I had a truly remarkable experience there. From the beginning, as Eve showed up in own, and throughout her bumpy ride through Salem, it has all been a good time for me.”

But Eve Donavan won’t be hightailing it out of Salem too soon. Kassie is an accomplished singer and it is a good thing most soap operas tape approximately six weeks in advance so Eve will be singing in the “Days of Our Lives” Christmas episode. But DePaiva did have this to say about her exit, “It saddens me to have been let go from the show as Eve was finally finding her footing.” Donovan has a very intense storyline involving Eduardo (A Martinez) – Eve’s ex – coming up on “Days of Our Lives.”

Kassie singled out co-stars Melissa Reeves, Jen Lilley, Casey Moss, Wally Kurth, True O’Brien and newest co-star A Martinez for helping her find the real Eve. “Characters come and go, just as actors, writers and producers. Some we love. Some we hate.” Kassie DePaiva ended by encouraging viewers to keep watching “DOOL.”

What is next for the talented actress and gifted singer? Maybe DePaiva will return to a career in music. She has released three albums – “Naked” in 2003, “No Regrets” in 2005 and “I Want to Love You” in 2007. Whatever road Kassie DePavia decides to follow she hopes that “Days of Our Lives” will remain on the air for another 50 years.
