“Days of Our Lives” fan favorite, Arianne Zucker [Nicole Walker] dishes about the writers’ plans for her character, and how they plan to give Nicole some fresh new ways to shine moving into 2016. Zucker noted that the changes left her “speechless” and she cannot wait until fans see the shows. Soap Central sat down with the talented actress; she gave the scoop about how Nicole will change in the coming months.

Arianne said that the best part of the show recently has been watching the character evolve and change with the new writers. “I’m fascinated with how different the show is. I just said the other day to one of my bosses that I literally felt like I am working on another show now. We are watching the ratings go up each week, and it’s like ‘wow,’” Zucker said.
Zucker felt that her character, Nicole had been stuck in a rut for a couple of years, and is pleased that the new writers could bring fresh life into her. “My character is such a challenge any. I don’t have any family ties to the show anymore. I have to make sure the fans love me and want me happy, or I could get sent to the corner easily without a tie to the show. I may not agree with every line of the script, but I do my best to put an emotional spin on it, so someone out there feels it,” Arianne explained.

“After 18 years, you’d think Nicole would have at least one baby. There are all these teenagers, and none is mine,” Arianne Laughed. She wouldn’t talk about Shawn Christian ’s exit from “Days of Our Lives” because she isn’t sure if it is official yet. She wouldn’t comment about how Daniel’s exit will impact Nicole’s storylines on the show.
