‘Days of Our Lives’ Interview: Alexander Bruszt Contract Extended – Needs A Long-Term Love Interest?

“Days of Our Lives” Alexander Bruszt (Fynn) has received a contract extension and now TPTB will pair the actor with a long-term love interest – they’re putting the actor through some chemistry tests right now. Fynn will be around for at least another few months. Since “DOOL” tapes six months in advance it there might be a little break before we see Dr. Fynn on-screen again.

In a recent interview the handsome Aussie said he was surprised that Fynn was going to be sticking around Salem. It was fate, because Alexander thought his time on “DOOL” had come to an end – but he picked up the phone and called TPTB before he started packing to go back to Australia. Bruszt was caught off-guard when the producer let Alexander know he’d been written in for another cycle! “[I] didn’t expect it, but I kind of felt they had left me hanging in the storyline.

Alexander may be a new face to audiences outside of Australia, but he is no stranger to soap operas. Bruszt appeared in the Australian soap opera “Home and Away.” Alexander was named the winner of the “Days of Our Lives” Search for a Star casting hunt.

Dr. Fynn will find love in Salem – Alexander Bruszt revealed that he’s doing some chemistry tests to find a long-running love interest. This sounds like good news – Fynn could be in Salem a very long time! When Alexander talks about his character he says that Fynn is a good doctor who looks after everyone. Will “Days” producers pair the good guy with a bad girl or a nice girl? Fans will just need to wait and see what happens for Dr. Fynn in the romance department!

Who would you choose as Dr. Fynn love interest? Right now the mysterious Fynn is working his way through Salem and there is something brewing. According to Alexander fans may be surprised, “[Fynn] might end up coming out with something people didn’t expect.” But Alexander Bruszt assures fans that his character is definitely one of the good guys – for now.
