1. Deidre was born October 31, 1947 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and she is a Scorpio.
2. Deidre intended on becoming a psychologist before realizing her passion for acting.
3. Deidre has an identical twin sister, Andrea Hall, who has played her “evil” twin, Samantha, on Days of Our Lives.
4. Deidre has been married four times and has two sons, David and Tully.
5. At the age of 12 Deidre was chosen as Junior Orange Bowl Queen.
6. Deidre wrote the book, “How Does She Do It?” based on her acting experience.
7. Deidre says in later years she has kept her brain active, by returning to college to study “everything from ballroom to American Sign Language.”
8. Deidre almost turned down the role of Marlena because she was so intimidated by her competition.
9. In 1995, Deidre produced and starred in Never Say Never: The Deidre Hall Story, a made-for-TV movie about her personal struggles to become a mother.
10. Deidre has been nominated for three Daytime Emmy Awards.
