‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) News: Jen Lilley Recording New Music with Gloria Gaynor

“Days of Our Lives” Jen Lilley (Theresa Donovan) has announced that she is recording new music with 70s icon Gloria Gaynor. In 2014 Lilley recorded a single with “DOOL” cast mate Eric Marstolf (Brady) – “Baby it’s Cold Outside”- for the holiday season.

Jen was excited to share this news with “Days of Our Lives” views via Instagram – “Back in the studio at #Capitol! This time with #GloriaGaynor!!!! So excited!!! The actress posted. The Instagram message included a black-white-photo of Lilley standing underneath a framed photo of the Capital Records building. Jen is also part of the cast of “Youthful Daze: The Musical Episode” – “Days of Our Lives” viewers can find the “Youthful Daze” soundtrack on iTunes or GooglePlay.

Just because Jen Lilley is back in the recording studio doesn’t mean she’s leaving “Days of Our Lives.” The actress loves singing and squeezes in musical projects whenever there is some downtime from the NBC daytime drama. Jen is also a talented comedienne – Lilley was once a series regular on the improvised comedy series “Disaster Date” which aired on MTV. Jen has also guest started on several primetime shows including “Two and a Half Men,” Castle,” “Criminal Minds,” and “The Crazy Ones.”

When Jen isn’t acting or recording she is active in several charities, advocating for children’s rights. Lilley received the National Educators Award for her work in Guatemala and is currently the celebrity ambassador for the child abuse and treatment organization Childhelp.

Don’t fear “Days of Our Lives” viewers – Theresa Donavan isn’t leaving Salem! You will just be able to enjoy more music from the talented singer and actress.
