‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) News: Jason Cook Stars In Horror Movie ‘El Despertar De La Occuridad’ – See Scary Trailer Here!

“Days of our Lives” mega star, Jason Cook announced on Twitter on Tuesday, November 3 that he would appear on a television show in Colombia to promote his new horror film, “El Despertar De La Occuridad.” The English translation is “to Awake from the Dark.”  Currently, he is finishing his two-month stint on “Days of our Lives,” and expected to exit the NBC daytime drama in later January.

The film is a horror film that is much like “The Ring” meets “Paranormal Activity.” A young family moves into a new home that has a creepy feel to it when they move in. It isn’t long until the boy starts talking to imaginary friends’ troubling his parents- Jason Cook portrays his father. As time goes on, it becomes clear that their son has befriended actual spirit beings- and they don’t like to be challenged.

In one scene, the boy begs him mother, “Please mom don’t anger them again?” Clearly, the boy and the parents are terrified of the beings that live within their home. They consult a priest, who seems confused on how to remove the evil beings from the home. It looks like an exciting horror flick with twists and turns along the way.

Jason Cook will appear on Colombian television in an interview to promote the flick. Soap Opera Spy saw the movie’s trailer, and it looked pretty spooky. Will you suppose Jason and watch his movie? Are you enjoying watching him reprise his role of Shawn Brady on “Days of Our Lives”?
