‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) News: Greg Vaughan Gets Contract Extension – Eric Staying Around

Greg Vaughan received great news this week; NBC offered him a contract extension on “Days of Our Lives” portraying Eric Brady. He didn’t share how long his contract extension is right now, but one can’t help wonder if his storyline will intertwine on Serena’s (Melissa Archer) murder. Do you think he could stumble upon Serena’s body, only to find out she is dead? That is exactly what the spoilers are revealing about the coming weeks.

Eric Brady was seen on the show last week, when he ended his relationship with Serena (Melissa Archer). He thanked her for everything she did for his grandmother and noted he would not forget it. She revealed the reason she did it was because she loved him. He said, “It’s over.” Serena thinks to herself that he probably is still in love with Nicole. They agree to be civil with each other, and part as friends.

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers revealed, Chad (Billy Flynn) and Serena went out and end up getting completely drunk together. The spoilers stated Eric would stumble upon a gruesome discovery. Her death will greatly affect him because he will feel responsible even though he had no hand in her death.

According to the spoilers, he will not be a suspect, but Chad will be. He was the last person seen with her alive. He will state that he cannot remember seeing her last, because he blacked out. The night before, Chad and Serena had a few too many drinks together, and he said a few offensive things to her. The police will find it strange that he cannot recall the last time seeing her, and they will decide he is the primary suspect. Later, it will revealed that he did not hurt Serena, but if he didn’t, who did?

Melissa Archer’s last day on the show is this week. Greg Vaughan was granted a contract extension. He didn’t specify how long his contract was extended for, just shared his excitement for Eric Brady’s storylines. In addition, Vaughan shared he will be appearing in a Hallmark movie in a few months. It is shaping up to be a great year for him.
