- Kate grew up and studied film and public relations at Pepperdine University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
- Kate trained as a dancer from a very young age both in NY and LA. She joined the Pacific Festival Ballet at just 15 years of age.
- Kate’s hair is naturally brunette; she lightens it for the role of Abigail.
- Kate’s a big fan of The Cooking Channel. One of her favorite shows is Everyday Italian, hosted by chef Giada De Laurentiis.
- Kate’s favorite food is strawberries.
- Kate is of Italian and Irish descent, has one sister (Alexa) and a five step siblings. Her parents are divorced and both got remarried.
- Kate is an avid reader.
- Before Days of Our Lives, Kate appeared in ads and played a guest role on How I Met Your Mother.
- Prior to landing the role of Abigail she auditioned for the role of Melanie.
