‘Days Of Our Lives’ (DOOL) Casting News Round-up: Recasts, Exits, And Ken Corday’s Special Guest Appearance!

“Days of Our Lives” casting news is in, and it looks like a few new actors will be debuting on the NBC soap and others will exit, according to She Knows Soaps. Something very special is that Ken Corday will make a guest appearance on Wednesday.  The show is heating up for a great anniversary episode coming in a few days.

Executive producer Ken Corday will make a guest appearance at Hope [Kristian Alfonso] and Aidan’s [Daniel Cosgrove] wedding on Wednesday. He will be one of their special guests on the big day.  Daniel reported in June that he was leaving the NBC daytime drama, and his last episode will air on November 9.

Kyler Pettis is the new Theo recast. And, that not all- he’s a much OLDER Theo.  His first episode aired today, November 3. He will portray Stefano’s SORAS’ed grandson.  Former “All My Children” mega star, Jordi Vilasuso was cast as Dario Hernandez, as of October 25. His first air date should be in early 2016.

“Days of Our Lives” issued a casting call for a psych patient, in his or her 30-40s, race not important. The actors will be interviewed this week, starting to film on Friday, November 6.

It looks like “Days” has some exciting material coming up in the next few months. They are gearing up for the special 50th-anniversary episode planned in just a few days.
