42nd ANNUAL DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS: Week-Long CBS Twitter Event Begins April 20

As we are swiftly approaching the 42nd Daytime Emmy Awards, CBS has announce that they will celebrate and honor the awards with a special week-long live Twitter event, featuring stars and producers from across the Network’s nominees.

Starting on Monday, April 20, cast and crew from The Talk, The Bold and the Beautiful, Lets Make a Deal, The Young and the Restless, and The Price is Right will live-tweet every weekday, up until Friday, April 24.

Up first, Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Tyler, and Sheryl Underwood, of The Talk, will begin the event with a live group chap on Monday, April 20. Twitter followers will also get treated to live chats with actress Linsey Godfrey, Scott Clifton and Jacob Young of The Bold and the Beautiful, as well as Keyboardist Cat Gray of Let’s Make a Deal.

The 2015 Daytime Emmy Awards will air on Sunday, April 26, and CBS leads the awards with more nominations than any other network. The #1 daytime drama, The Young and the Restless received a whopping 25 nominations alone. In addition, The Bold and the Beautiful received 19 nominations, The Talk received seven nominations, and Let’s Make a Deal and The Price is Right received two nominations each. If you lost count, that’s a total of 55 nominations!

CBS Daytime’s lineup was honored in it’s entirety. The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful both received nominations for Outstanding Drama Series, while The Talk was nominated for Outstanding Talk Show/Entertainment and Outstanding Talk Show Host. The Price is Right is up for Outstanding Game Show.

In addition, CBS Daytime TV received Lead Actor nominations for Y&R’s Christian LeBlanc and Billy Miller, and Outstanding Lead Actress for Y&R’s Gina Tognoni. Amelia Heinle and Elizabeth Hendrickson. of Y&R, and B&B’s Linsey Godfrey received nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress. Scott Clifton and Jacob Young of B&B and Y&R’s Kristoff St. John received nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actor. Also, Hunter King and Max Enrich received nods for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series and for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series.

Tuesday, April 21 cast members from The Bold and the Beautiful will be on Twitter using the hashtag #BoldandBeautiful. The group chat starts at 1:30 PM, ET.

Wednesday, April 22 Keyboardist Cat Gray and Director Lenn Goodside of Let’s Make A Deal will be live at 3:00 PM ET, using the hashtag #LMAD.

The Young and the Restless cast will be going live on Thursday, April 23 at 12:30 PM ET. Chat with them under the hashtag #YR

Lastly, on Friday April 24 at 11:00 AM, ET you can Tweet with the executive producer of The Price is Right Mike Richards, by tweeting #PriceIsRight.
