This Is Us Spoilers: First Look At Season 2 – Watch Rebecca And Randall’s Emotional Moment

“This Is Us” spoilers are here! Fans are so excited to get any little sliver of news for the upcoming season. We are just a little more than 4 weeks out from the premiere of Season 2. NBC recently posted an exclusive sneak peek look at the second season. We get a look in at an adult Randall Pearson (Sterling K. Brown) and his mother Rebecca (Mandy Moore) having a conversation about how his wife, Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) is not completely on board with them adopting a third child.

When Randall asks his mom straight out, “How did you guys decide, with me?” Rebecca responded as she has probably since Randall was old enough to ask, “The moment we saw you we knew.” Randall presses his mom, wanting the true answer, not the mother/son answer.

“This Is Us” takes us back to the 1980’s as Rebecca is in the maternity ward, she has just given birth to triplets, with only two surviving. She’s grieving, full of all the emotions of giving birth and a loss of a child all at once. Then her husband Jack is pushing for them to adopt a son that was abandoned at the fire station that same day. Jack saw it as a sign, they were meant to be family. He pushed this child into the family, into Rebecca’s heart, soon this child became her heart. You might need to grab the tissues before watching the promo.

“This Is Us” sources reveal that Season 2 will open up like that of Season 1. In celebration of the ‘Big Three’ turning 37, before jumping back in time to pick up where Season 1 left off. Just as Jack and Rebecca had their big blowout as Jack decides to move out to give their marriage some room to breathe. Still so many questions the fans want answers to, however, they will be ecstatic to get this small glimpse into the second season. Where we are told many of our questions will be answered in Season 2, even within the first episode.
