The Young and the Restless Star Jensen Buchanan’s Preliminary Hearing Scheduled For August

It looks as though ‘The Young and the Restless’ star Jensen Buchanan’s preliminary hearing has been rescheduled for August 18. According to reports, Jensen was charged with drinking drunk while on Highway 154 in Arizona. She reportedly caused a crash that critically injured another person.

She faces allegations of driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.34, along with causing great bodily injury. She pleaded not guilty in October.

Back in October of 2016, Jensen reportedly crossed the double yellow line on the highway and slammed head-on into a man named Bradley Asolas, who suffered major injuries and was airlifted to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. His injuries included a shattered pelvis and femur, broken humerus and ulna, fractured ribs, injured spine, and internal bleeding from lacerations to his spleen, pancreas and liver. He spent over a month recovering at a rehab facility at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.

Jensen first appeared in court with her attorneys on January 11, 2017, and learned that she will wait two more months for a preliminary hearing date pending a pre-plea report from the Probation Department. The August 18 preliminary hearing is estimated to last about four hours, and is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Santa Maria Superior Court.

So far Jensen herself has not made any comments about the case.
